Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-22. This policy explains how Smart Planner by Feathly handles your data.

Official language notice: This English version is the controlling version of this policy. Translations are provided for convenience and reference only. If a translation differs from this English version, the English version prevails.

Smart Planner v1 is designed as a local-first app. Your loop content is stored on your device unless you choose to export, share, or attach information to a support request.

1. Local-first data storage

Smart Planner v1 stores your app data locally on your device. This may include loop titles, notes, categories, templates, schedule settings, generated reminder occurrences, reminder times, review records, completion history, app preferences, language, theme, wake and sleep time, notification window, time zone settings, and local premium purchase status used to unlock paid features.

In Smart Planner v1, Feathly does not operate a cloud sync server for your loop data, and your loop content is not uploaded to Feathly servers during normal planner use.

2. Account and cloud sync

Smart Planner v1 does not require a Feathly account and does not provide real-time cloud sync. If cloud sync, cloud backup, account login, or server-based features are added in the future, this policy will be updated before those features are used.

3. Purchases and PRO status

If you purchase a premium or lifetime feature, the payment is processed through Google Play. Feathly does not directly collect or store your full payment card details. Smart Planner may store local purchase status, product ID, purchase time, purchase restoration status, last verification time, and encrypted entitlement information on your device to unlock PRO features and remove ads.

Smart Planner may check purchase status with Google Play when the app starts, when it returns to the foreground, when you open a PRO screen, or when you use Restore Purchase. This is used to restore purchases, keep PRO access accurate, and reflect refund or entitlement status.

If you choose to save a purchase account hint inside the app, Smart Planner may store a masked email address and an encrypted local copy of that email on your device. This is used only to help you remember which account may have been used when restoring a purchase. It is not uploaded to Feathly servers in v1.

4. Support requests

When you use the Feathly support form or email support, Feathly may collect the information you choose to provide, including your name, reply email, Google Play purchase email, Google Play order ID, approximate purchase date and country, request category and title, message, app version, build number, device model, Android version, locale, time zone, and attachments.

Support requests are used to answer questions, investigate technical and billing issues, verify purchase or refund records, prevent abuse, improve the product, and maintain necessary support history. The support form uses an external form-delivery provider and anti-spam processing to send requests to support@feathly.com, which is managed through Google Workspace. These providers may process network and security metadata needed to deliver and protect the form.

Do not include passwords, full card numbers, card security codes, account recovery codes, raw purchase tokens, or unrelated personal information. Do not attach Smart Planner backup or database files unless Feathly support specifically requests them.

Routine support requests may be retained for up to 24 months. Billing, refund, abuse, security, accounting, or dispute records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary or required by law. Attachments are removed when they are no longer needed for the support purpose.

5. Advertising

The free version of Smart Planner may display a bottom banner ad through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect or process advertising identifiers, device information, app activity, diagnostics, and related data to provide, measure, and improve ads, depending on your device settings and applicable laws.

Smart Planner does not use interstitial ads, app-open ads, rewarded ads, native ads, or pop-up ads in v1. Feathly does not directly sell your personal information to advertisers, and your loop titles, notes, schedules, and review content are not shared with advertisers by Feathly.

Early Supporter PRO users can remove ads by purchasing PRO. You can learn more about how Google uses information from apps and sites that use its services at Google's partner sites policy.

6. Notifications

Smart Planner may request notification permission so the app can send loop reminders. Notification scheduling is used to support the reminder features you set up in the app. You can change notification permissions in your device settings.

7. Export and import

If Smart Planner provides export or import features, exported files are controlled by you. You are responsible for where you save, share, or back up those files.

8. Data sharing

Feathly v1 does not sell your personal data. Smart Planner v1 does not upload your loop content to Feathly servers during normal use or share your loop content with advertisers. Google Play may process purchase-related information, Google AdMob may process advertising-related information, and support service providers may process information you submit through the support form.

9. Data deletion

Because Smart Planner v1 stores planner data locally, you can remove local app data by deleting loops inside the app, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app. If you uninstall the app without exporting or backing up your data, your local Smart Planner data may be lost.

Smart Planner v1 does not provide a Feathly cloud account, so there is no Feathly server account deletion process in this version. To request deletion of support correspondence or attachments that Feathly controls, submit a support-data deletion request or email support@feathly.com. Some billing, accounting, security, or legal records may need to be retained.

10. Security

Smart Planner is designed as a local-first app. Purchase entitlement and optional purchase account hint information may be stored locally using encrypted storage where supported. Your data security also depends on your device security settings, such as screen lock, device encryption, backups, and operating system protection.

11. Children

Smart Planner is a general productivity and study planning app. It is not specifically designed for children under the age required by local law to use digital services without parental consent. If you are under that age, please use Smart Planner with permission from a parent or guardian.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Smart Planner changes. Important changes, especially those related to ads, purchases, support data, cloud sync, accounts, or server-based data handling, will be communicated clearly.

13. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, use the support form or contact support@feathly.com.
